Early-Bird Ends, But This Is Just The Beginning

With us hitting the 48 hour mark, the early-bird tier has been locked. The "Year of Adventure" pledge level is now $199 for anyone who backs after this point. We also will only be giving the Early-Bird Challenge Coins to anyone who has backed up till this point. 

But, if you know someone who missed out on the early-bird coin, and still wants one. Fear not! Show them Section 6 on the Campaign Page, titled "Solve Puzzles, Win FREE Coins". That's right! The game isn't over. Here's the rules:

• There is a puzzle hidden around the campaign page RIGHT NOW
• There will be a new puzzle posted in the updates every Tuesday until the campaign ends. 
• Solve 1 of these puzzles, and get a FREE brass metal challenge coin. 
• Solve more puzzles and upgrade your coin to a better version. 
• First brass, then copper, then Ossein(red), then Silver, and finally Gold! 5 puzzles. 
• 5 chances for a free reward.
• If you've already backed as an early-bird, you can also solve puzzles on the page, and get an additional coin on top of your early-bird coin!
• In order to get credit for these puzzles, you must go to our discord(linked below) and type the "/answer" command into the #answers channel, and guess the correct answer. That is how we're tracking it.

We're Almost To The First Stretch Goal!

50 hours into this campaign, and we're staring right at our first stretch goal! An additional song for each quest! These songs are all composed by our wonderful musician. He has worked tirelessly to build these songs, including every song you hear in our marketing, and the wonderful song that's included in our cinematic trailer.

This additional song will be added to the digital resources of each quest, bringing the total songs to 4 per quest, or 20 total in the Year of Adventure tier! They can be played right there in our audio player on the site, or can be downloaded and used at your whim.

These songs add ambiance and a true feeling of immersion as your players embark, and each has been designed with the quests in mind.To heighten the tension at key times, or to give epic battle music when they enter a duel.

(100 Backers) A New Supported System: Savage Worlds

Over 100 Backers Already!?

Even though we set our first social stretch goal to "250 backers", we've been talking and wanted to thank all of you for supporting us thus far! 

While the Quest Chests are fully system-agnostic by design, we do offer system-specific adjustments and stats in our digital resources page for the GM to use!

By default, we support Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition, Pathfinder 2nd Edition, and Powered by the Apocalypse. As we hit certain numbers of backers, we will be stating out even more! Starting at 250 backers, we will provide support for Shadow of the Demon Lord. 

However, since we've already hit over 100 backers, and we hit our funding goal in under 12 hours(Thank you all so much), we want to surprise and delight you all with support for another system!

Savage Worlds

That's right. Savage Worlds will now be an officially supported system, with stat blocks created for all encounters, and adjustments made to accommodate it.

Savage Worlds is a role-playing game written by Shane Lacy Hensley and published by Pinnacle Entertainment Group. The game emphasizes speed of play and reduced preparation over realism or detail. The game received the 2003 Origin Gamers' Choice Award for best role-playing game.

12 Hours Left for Early-Bird Rewards!

That's right. It's already 36 hours into the campaign, which means that tomorrow at 9am CST, we will be closing off the early-bird reward, and backers who back after that point will no longer receive the FREE Red metal coin. 

The price of the "A Year of Adventure" tier will go back to it's standard Kickstarter price of $199(Which is still $50 less than the MSRP will be). So tell your friends, your family, your coworkers, spouse, and any animals you know with a credit card! Time is running short to get this fantastic deal!

A Look Inside the Campaign Chest Box(And Thanks)

We shot this video shortly before collapsing from exhaustion :D But now that we're awake, and recharged, we wanted to send it out and thank you all once again. There is a transcript of the video below 

Also, Inside the Campaign Chest:

We wanted to show off something that we didn't get the chance to on the page. Organization and removing barriers to setup and teardown are important to us. For that reason, we wanted to show you inside our Quest Chests, and what we've done to allow the Campaign Chest box to house all 5 adventures from the "Year of Adventure" tier! As gamers, we understand that shelf space is already limited, so we wanted to do our part to reduce clutter, by allow them to condense down into a single box at the end of the campaign.

Here is a look at our current Quest Chest box interior. We took care to design the box so that the components would nestle in perfectly, and be safe in transit. Also, that you'd be able to repackage materials, if needed, safely and easily. That is a solid foam core inside the box, since we have glass candles and some fragile components, it's very important to us to ensure their safety. Also, it looks and feels damn good.

But we want to show you how we've taken that design, and leveled it up for our Campaign Chest. From the beginning, we wanted the Campaign Chest to offer the ability to house all of the components from it, as well as the other quests from this campaign: Those Beyond The Walls.

Please keep in mind that this is a prototype image, and there are already design changes that we'd like to implement. For example: There is supposed to be a cutout for the maps as well, so they fit on top of the other components. But we hope that you appreciate this look inside!

Our Launch Party:

We want to thank everyone who came out and joined us for our launch party! It was in Wisconsin, just north of where Austin is based. We had games, drinks, food, and showed off some of the prototypes as well as gave out some great prizes!

And a shoutout to our MVP for the evening, Dylan Giovannoni. This wonderful friend faced a massive challenge: GMing for a rotating group of players, from children to adults, throughout the evening. Several occasions we offered to step in and give him a break, but he was so enthusiastic about this game that he refused. Dylan is a genuinely awesome human, and a truly masterful GM. We cannot thank him enough for taking our crazy idea(A D&D scavenger hunt that ends with a rotating arena battle over prizes), and rolling with it! Thank you!

Austin: Just want to say hi. We're back from our awesome launch party. It's past 1 a.m at this point.

Michael: It is definitely past 1 a.m. and probably somewhere past 45th hour, maybe, of being awake, give or take.

Austin: Something like that.

Michael: Yeah. In and around.

Austin: It's been a very long day, but we just wanted to say hi and say thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Everything that you're doing to support us. I mean, we never imagined that we would make it this far that we would have funded in less than 12 hours.

Michael: It's incredible. Yeah. 

Austin: And that, that we're on this road together to create awesome adventures with all of you. So we want to thank you.

Michael: Thank you so much. It is honestly one of the major joys of our lives to to be able to provide such an exciting experience tonight to everyone who came out to the launch party and to be sharing this journey in this adventure with you folks. You know, we're, what, like 14 or 15 hours into this campaign at this point. And I'm already so excited to get these boxes into your hands. You have no idea. This is this going to be quite the ride.

Austin: Yeah. We think you're really going to love it. And we have so much awesome stuff to show you. So stay tuned for the updates. We're going to keep keep coming with more information on what these boxes entail. Some really cool details on how they're created and and what goes into them. And and yeah, we think you're going to love this.

Woah! Thank you! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Your support and belief in us and in Quest Chest is so wonderful, and we have nothing but gratitude for all of you.

Funded in under 12 hours was not something we expected, but we're thrilled that we know for a fact this early on that we'll be able to get our campaign chest into your hands!

We have some amazing stretch goals, both social and dollar value, and we're  excited to reveal them as we move forward. With the rest of the campaign ahead of us and with love in our hearts we're ready to see how far we can all go together!

There's a great adventure ahead of all of us. We can't wait to share it with you!
