Puzzle #3 - Coins in the City of Kings

 Apologies for the late puzzle update! Most of our team bas been traveling to Origins Game Fair today, and we've all just emerged from our various modes of transport back into fresh air. If you are in Columbus come say hi at booth 851 :D

Without further ado, let the puzzling commence!

Noodle has been looking everywhere for the rest of the lost coins; You’ve done a great job helping him find two of them, but there are still three missing!  
 You’ve reminded Noodle that the coins were lost in the a specific realm, the name of which you decoded in the first puzzle, and you’ve survived the Witches’ tearoom none the worse for wear.   
 Retracing his steps, Noodle realizes that on his way back to us, he was chased out of the City of Ioatha, first by the crime family of the Syndicate, and then by the Eleran city guard! He took shelter somewhere in the city and must have dropped some of the coins there, but he can’t quite remember where in the city he was.
 Perhaps Noodle should start taking better notes, or maybe a blog!  Can you help him remember where in the city he might have left the coins?   
Far beyond the realm of kings, No knowledge thrives, no wisdom sings,                                                      Ascend the path where silence clings, You’ll find the heart of forgotten things.  
Through bustling markets, vibrant and loud, The anvil's song, where blade’s endowed,                  Vineyard's charm, wine in proud shroud, Yet none reveal what remains unbowed.   
Not where the noble banners sway, Nor where pious humbly pray,                                                                    The inn's allure, where mirth holds sway, Our secret eludes a hopeful stay.  
Dynasty's wealth, gleaming and refined, Minted with care, treasure defined,                                                  Our secret lies elsewhere, confined, For wealth cannot unlock what's enshrined.                                            
In shadows cast by moon's gentle light, Where whispers weave in the depths of night,                               The clandestine grasp, veiled from sight, Yet the answer eludes their desperate plight.  
Within the realm once legends dwelled, Where shadows whisper, ancient spells,                                       Seek ye the sentinels, once fierce and fell, Now watchful slumber conceals their shell

Witches Brew

Oh no, adventurers! Noodle just remembered where he dropped some of his coins. A very scary witch offered Noodle a rest and some tea, but when he sat down the witch told him he’d have to play a game with her in order to get the benefits of his short rest. The witch set eight cups of tea in front of Noodle and told him he could choose any of them he wants, but that he must drink out of the one he chose. No problems so far. Unfortunately only one of the cups of tea is safe! The rest have all been poisoned with a variety of weird and unpleasant substances. Some people have odd hobbies we suppose...

If you want to recover these coins and solve the puzzle you’ll need to visit the witch and play their little game. Which of the cups of tea is safe? Which will you choose? And why does is smell so much like purple worm in here…

•  Clue 1: 

 Seek the cup that rests upon the scale, Its weight held in an enigmatic tale. Neither light nor heavy, it finds its poise, An elegant secret it confidently deploys.  

•  Clue 2: 

 Listen closely to the swirling mists, They carry secrets in ethereal twists. Amidst the wisps, a hint lies veiled, The good cup's secret, subtly sails.  

•  Clue 3: 

 Among the cups, a flame burns bright, A hue of warmth, a radiant light. Embrace the cup with ember's gleam, Safety's mark, a fiery scheme.  

•  Clue 4: 

 Observe the handles with a discerning gaze, Among them, one with a captivating phase. Its curves embrace with an enchanting hold, A clue to the best, a tale untold.

•  Clue 5: 

Delve into the patterns, intricate and grand, The cup adorned with a twisting command. Its enchanting swirls conceal delicious trace, Unravel the mystery, an elegant chase.

25K! Second Stretch Goal!

We hit our second stretch goal! 

We woke up to a wonderful surprise! 25K! Wow! That means that now, all booklets will have NEW landscape artwork to give you a full-color visual of the locale in each Quest. They will be added both inside, and on the back cover, so you can show your players without having to cover up key information within the booklet. 

These beautifully rendered landscapes will also be provided in the digital resources as downloadable/printable artwork. 

What is Next? 

Now we are only 5K away from FREE Pins and Stickers added to every quest, and a custom Class designed specifically with Quest Chest in mind, and compatible with any of our supported systems! We are very excited to add more physical value to each box(which is already packed with so much), and we can't wait to go even higher!

Quest Chest is a Project We Love on Kickstarter!

Thrilled, excited, overjoyed, grateful! There are a lot of adjectives running through our minds right now, and we're so thankful to our community which helped the Quest Chest Kickstarter become a Kickstarter Project We Love as of today! 

We've been working on the Quest Chest line for a long time now, and it can start to feel like a bit of an echo chamber. You never know how what you're working on will be received until it's out in the wild, and the response has been overwhelming. 

This is only the start for the campaign, and for Quest Chest, and we're so grateful to have you along with us for this ride. Please feel free to share this exciting news far and wide!

Closing In On 25k Stretch Goal!

In other news! We're so close to the next stretch goal, which will include more art for you to share with your players. Just under $1000 to go, and then it's onwards to pins, stickers, and a brand new Class!
